MELTING WORLD is an artistic research and a collection of video artworks, ode to vanishing landscapes,

a meditation on the slow yet relentless retreat of glaciers in the wake of a warming planet. Through moving imagery 

and layered soundscapes, the project captures the fragility of ice - its silent fractures, its rhythmic dissolution 

into water - revealing the delicate balance between permanence and impermanence. 

 

As glaciers recede, they carry away not only millennia of frozen history but also the lifelines of ecosystems dependent 

on their presence. MELTING WORLD is a dystopic visual representation of the disappearance of these unique landscapes, 

a haunting testament to the irreversible consequences of climate change. It portrays a future where these frozen giants 

exist only in memory, their absence reshaping the land, water cycles, and entire ways of life. 

 

With this collection of works, it is aimed to bridge scientific awareness with sensory experience, immersing the viewer 

in the quiet urgency of this transformation. It is both a reflection on loss and a call to raise awareness and 

to take action - before these icy realms slip beyond the realm of the present, becoming mere echoes of what once was.
